  • Hlo Pallavi,the exam pattern for the exam is as follows:GRE consists of three sections-
    1.    Analytical Writing
    In this section, your ability to analyse the given situation and facts are checked. You will be given a topic on which you have to write your views in a perfect and attractive manner.
    2.    Verbal Reasoning
    In this section, your capacity to understand the author’s point of view is checked through reading comprehensions and text completion. It might be tricky for someone who is not that goof in English.
    3.    Quantitative Reasoning
         This section comprises of mathematics and concepts of arithmetic,  algebra, geometry and data interpretation. This section checks your knowledge of mathematics.

  • Exam Pattern
    One can register online.
    Exam is conducted in both online or offline mode.
    After complete application, one needs to pay whole fee of US $205.
    The exam happens in 3 sections, where the pattern varies from paper-based test to online-test.
    Paper-based test:
    Analytical Writing Assessment- 2 sections, 2 tasks- 60 minutes
    Verbal Reasoning- 2 sections, 50 questions- 70 minutes
    Quantitative- 2 sections, 50 questions- 80 minutes
    Computer-based test:
    Analytical Writing Assessment- 1 section, 2 tasks- 60 minutes
    Verbal Reasoning- 2 sections, 40 questions- 60 minutes
    Quantitative- 2 sections, 40 questions- 70 minutes

  • GRE Test Pattern 2018
    The GRE Test Pattern has three sections- Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning. The total duration of the GRE 2018 is 3 hours 40 minutes. Besides the main academic sections, there are two other variable sections and a 10-minute break is given after the third (Quantitative Reasoning) section during the GRE Test 2018.
     
    The two variable sections are Unscored and the Research section, which do not count toward the actual GRE 2018 score. The GRE test pattern 2018 includes six GRE subject tests. They are Biology, Chemistry, Literature in English, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology. Each subject has a different test pattern. The GRE2018 Subject Tests are offered in paper-based format. Candidates can take the test worldwide three times in a year in September, October and April. The GRE 2018 Subject test is 2 hours and 50 minutes duration
