UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) is an online entrance exam conducted for engineering B.tech, B.pharma, Hotel Management, Fashion & apparel design technology. It is a national level examination. The questions asked in the exam are of objective type. The candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria in order to apply for UPTU exam. The candidate must hold 45% marks aggregate in their 10+2 of UP board from recognized college for qualifying UPTU exam. The syllabus for UPTU is divided into three sections Physics, Chemistry & Maths. The examination is of 150 questions having 600 marks. of 3 sections in tootal. The time duration is of 180 minutes. Candidates are thus advised to practice UPTU Engineering previous years' papers to crack the examination.
