ONGC is an elite company in India, Getting a placement at ONGC, would be a ticket for a hassle-free life for any engineer and for some non-engineers. Getting into ONGC you need two things, general knowledge, and technical knowledge. as most of the people can compete and come near you at technical knowledge,so prove yourself in general knowledge paper. I would suggest u start reading the newspaper as most questions are from current affairs, some on business and other your engineering background. you have to apply which department you want to enter in ONGC and you will be having a paper on it
