  • JNUCEEB Eligibility Criteria:

    JNUCEEB is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to offer admission in postgraduate biotechnology courses in JNU along with some of the colleges around the nation. Only eligible candidates can take this entrance examination to get admission. There are three criteria that sum up to be eligible for the JNUCEEB, Nationality, Age limit, and Educational qualification.

    Applicants are advised to check the Complete Eligibility Criteria before applying for the JNUCEEB. The JNUCEEB eligibility criteria are discussed here:

    ► Nationality:

    There is no restriction for the nationality of the citizen, any person can apply for JNUCEEB irrespective of citizenship. 

    ► Age Limit:

    There is no limitation for the age, candidates of any age can apply for the JNUCEEB Exam for the year 2020.

    ► Educational Qualifications:

    As the JNUCEEB offers admission in 3 different courses the qualifications for the courses are different. The complete details for the required educational qualifications are mentioned here:

    • MTech Biotechnology: 

    1. The aspirants for MTech programme must be graduate with Engineering degree with minimum 60% marks or CGPA equivalent to it form a government recognized university/institution.
    2. The final year appearing students can apply for the exam.

    • MSc Biotechnology:
    ​
    The candidate must have a qualified Bachelor’s Degree ( Biological, Agricultural, Physical, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, 4-years BSc (Physician Assistant Course), medicine (MBBS), or BDS with at least 55% marks in 10+2+3 education pattern.

    • MSc (Agri) Biotechnology and MVSc Programme:
     
    T e candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% of marks under 10+2+3 pattern in the respective subject from the recognized university/institute.
