  • It is an Online as well Offline exam which is conducted in three stages for HPAS:
    Preliminary, Mains Examinations and Interview:

    Prelims: It consists of 2 papers carrying 200 marks each.
    Paper I will be about General Science like Indian Heritage and culture, History, Geography of the world and India, Government, constitution, Indian Polity, Social Justice, International Relations, Technology, Bio – Diversity, Environment, Disaster Management, Economic Development and much more.
    Paper II will be about Aptitude Test like Number Series, Blood Relations, Syllogisms, Circular Arrangements and more.
    Both the papers will have 100 Objective Type Questions.

    Mains: It is of 1000 marks and you will need to study subjects like Hindi, English, Essay, General Studies I & II & III and Optional Paper chosen by the students. 40% Marks in Hindi & English will be given merit and are compulsory to go for further Stage i.e. HPAS Mains and 45% in aggregate.

    The chosen candidate will go for the final stage of Selection i.e. Viva – Voice which consists of 150 Marks.
