    Syllabus
    Aptitude- It tests the  knowledge of Data Interpretation, Profit and Loss, Ratio, Series, Critical Reasoning, verbal analogies, etc. There are 30 questions in this section within 30 minutes time duration.
    Technical- It tests the programming, engineering and management knowledge. There are 20 questions in this section within 30 minutes time duration.

  • The preliminary written exam of Ashok Leyland which may be a pan-paper based or conducted online has the following two sections asked :
    GENERAL APTITUDE : Probability, Permutations and Combinations, Algebra, Averages, Time-Speed-Distance, Time and Work, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, Simple and Compound Interest, Percentage, Number Series, Mixtures, Simplification, Number System, Heights and Distances, Geometry and Mensuration, Data Sufficiency, Logarithms, Progressions, etc
    TECHNICAL : Since Ashok Leyland is an Automotive giant, this section tests your knowledge of Mechanical Engineeriing, i.e. Production technology, Manufacturing science, Automobile mechanics and other stuff.

  • hi ankit, dont have accurate syllabus but have some important sections for written exam. You just need to focus on that only. Just check:

    Quantitative Ability section consists of questions from the topics like boats &streams problems, odd one out, direction problems, trains & pipes, cisterns, time and work etc.

    Technical section consists of Basic Production Engineering and Mechanical Figurative Questions.
