As per the eligibility criteria, the Candidate must have completed ME (Master in Engineering)/M.Tech (Master of Technology)/B.E (Bachelor of Engineering)/B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) from any recognized university. The Selection Procedure is conducted in four steps- Written Exam, Group Discussion (GD), Technical Interview and HR Interview. The level of the written examination is moderate to tough.

The exam happens in the four-way procedure:

  1. Written Test

  2. Group Discussion (GD)

  3. Technical Interview

ABB Placement: Exam Pattern

The exam pattern consists of 110 Questions with a time limit of 110 minutes. The number of sections is two:

  1. Aptitude: Verbal, Analytical, and Attention to Details for 50 marks

  2. Technical: For 60 marks

Those who clear the Written Test will be called for Interview which will be psychometric Test which will test your personality, behavior, social, ethics, and more.

After it, you’ll be called for Technical Interview which will test your knowledge and skills regarding the job you applied for, It will have 60 questions with a time limit of 60 minutes.

Then comes, HR Interview which will test your personal interests, qualitative questions and more.

  • TECHNICAL SECTION:

It consists of questions from topics like switchgear, circuit breakers, etc. Also, it consists of questions based on electrical and electronics, RDBMS, DBA, Unix, and OS & Networking.
