    Exam Pattern
    The exam timing is actually of 6hrs 15mins. It is a computer based examination.It consists of the following sections:
    Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems
    Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems
    Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behaviour
    Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills
    Syllabus
    Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems- Introductory biology, Chemistry concepts: organic, and inorganic; Basic Biochemistry concepts: first-semester biochemistry; Biology: Cellular and molecular; Natual Sciences; etc.
    Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems- Introductory biology, chemistry: organic and inorganic, and concepts of physics; biochemistry concepts; etc.
    Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behaviour- Concepts of psychology, sociology, and biology about the behavioral and socio-cultural health determinants; etc.
    Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills-  Test comprehension, analysis, and reasoning skills; Include content from ethics, philosophy, studies of diverse cultures, population health, and a wide range of social sciences and humanities disciplines

  • With a total duration of four hours five minutes, the MCAT exam pattern consists of 3 sections. They are:
    1. Physical Sciences
    2. Verbal Reasoning
    3. Biological Sciences
    However, there is a fourth section i.e. the Trial Section which is taken toward the finish and includes 32 ques to be completed in 45 minutes. The trail section is unscored.

    Each of the 3 main sections includes some experimental things, which are unscored. The MCAT exam pattern of the sections is explained in details below:
    Physical Sciences:
    1. Total of 52 queries
    2. 7 passage-based sets of queries
    3. 4–7 questions per set
    4. 13 freelance queries
    Verbal Reasoning:
    1. Total of 40 queries
    2. 7 passages (approximately 600 words per passage)
    3. 5–7 questions per passage.

    Biological Sciences:
    1. Total of 52 queries
    2. 7 passage-based sets of queries
    3. 4–7 questions per set
    4. 13 freelance queries
    Trial Section: This section is voluntary i.e. the candidate has the option of not taking it. It is taken to evaluate questions for future MCAT exams. With duration of forty five minutes, the trial section may have thirty two queries.
