  • 1) IBM is now a completely different company than it was when it hit rock bottom in 1993.
    2) Hardware products such as servers and semiconductors  once the backbone of the company accounted for just 9% of IBM’s revenue in 2008.
    3)As a company, IBM now aspires to have its service, software and hardware divisions complement one another.
