What is the significance of SCMS ?
SCMS is promoted by Federation of Indian Minarel industries (FIMI) and supported by ministry of mines has been established as per the guidelines framed by the National Skill Development Council.

The SCMS is currently focusing on providing training for manpower existing and for induction of new manpower in existing and new centers on national platform. It associates central and state governments in providing training to local youth in mining areas . It is a registered company under section 25 of companies act 2013. It has 80G certificate under income tax act 1961. They were set to develop skill competency standard and qualifications, benchmark it with national and international standards to work with mining industy. Todays mining industry has a large shortage of skilled personnel in various trades. SCMS provide skills and training to youths to increase the manpower and workforce in the mining sector.0Modal content
