3rd ionisation potential of Mg is greater than 3rd I.P. of Al. it's wrong why?

bcz in case of Mg, 3rd electron is to be extracted from noble gas configuration while as in case of Al extraction of 3rd electron results in acquiring stable noble gas configuration. hope u got the ans0Modal content
