What is the Revised Exam Pattern of the SRMJEEE?

How many subjects are asked in the SRMJEEE and which subject contains how many questions (Exam Pattern) and how much time is allotted to attend all the questions?

  • SRMJEEE Revised Exam Pattern:

    SRMJEEE will be conducted Online in the English language only. The exam will be consist of 5 Sections (PCMEA /PCBEA) - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology, English, Aptitude. Each correct answer will carry 1 Mark. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answered or unattempted question. The no of questions will be 125 in the exam for 125 Marks to solve in 2 Hrs and 30 Minutes.

    Physics and Chemistry will cover 35 - 35 MCQs, 40 MCQs from Mathematics /Biology, 5 MCQs from English and 10 MCQs from Aptitude.

    Sri Ramaswami Memorial Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) organizes SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE: UG) every year to offer admission in various BTech Programs. The SRMJEEE is the only gateway to take admission in the SRMIST Campuses.

    This is one of the popular exams in India. There are above 2 Lacs candidates participate in the exam every year. The exam will be conducted from 30 July to 4 August 2020.

    The candidates who have opted for PCMEA (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Aptitude) will be eligible for all the BTech Programs. The candidates who have opted for PCBEA (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Aptitude) will be eligible for BTech (Biotechnology) and all its specializations and BTech (Biomedical Engineering).

    The English and Aptitude are newly added sections in the entrance exam. 5 questions are increased in the Mathematics /Biology section. Now the Maths /Biology section covers 40 questions. This is a computer-based test and the level of exam is All India Level (University Level).
