AMITY UNIVERSITY is one of India's largest and reputed university offering a large number of courses including engineering. Amity is a privately funded university and over the time has earned the place as one of India's leading university in technical education with 9 campus in India and 2 overseas campus amity has marked it's stamp in education sector providing one of the best education in the country. For admission in B.tech stream the university every year conduct a joint entrance examination also known as AMITY-JEE and on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination the admissions in different specialization course are decided. Examination is completely Objective type based with both online and offline mode of examination available. It is likely to be held in the month of April every year as well as conducted on different dates for different states. With a large craze for engineering stream a large mass of applicants turn out for admission in amity campuses making it one of the most attended entrance exam overall. A student is needed to study Physics, Chemistry and Maths/biology in 11th and 12th standard to be eligible for appearing in AMITY-JEE.

Candidates need to have studeid English as a mandatory subject in 10+2 level.

Only candidates completed 10+2 in regular mode are eligible.

In aggregate percentage Physical Education / Fine Arts / Perfoming Arts / vocational / non written subjects will only be considered for respective disciplines.

Type: Paper based test(Offline Mode) or Computer based test(Online Mode)
Duration: The duration of the AMITY JEE will be of 120 minutes.
No. of Questions: 90 Objective type questions.
Syllabus Covered: Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and English
Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

English: It covers topics like Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Verbal and Logical Ability – Total 15 questions.
Physics: It covers topics like Physics and Measurement, Vector Algebra, Kinematics of a Particle, Newton’s Law of Motion, Work, Energy & Power, Heat, Wave Motion, and Thermodynamics’, Ray Optics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, communication systems and more – Total of 25 Questions.
Chemistry: It covers topics like the States of Matter, Hydrogen, Solutions, Electro Chemistry, Ionic Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Atomic Structure, Polymers, Biomolecules, D & F Block Elements, Surface Chemistry, Electro-Kinetics, chemistry in everyday life and more – Total of 25 Questions.
Mathematics: It covers topics like Quadratic Equation, Circle, Straight Line, Functions, Limits and Continuity, Parabola, Straight Line, Area, 3D, Vectors, Probability, Maxima & Minima, Eclipse & Hyperbola, properties of Triangle, Limits & Continuity and more – Total of 25 Questions.

•Check your syllabus to class NCERT Books of Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with General Knowledge Books.
•Before going for it, do prepare for them through books like NCERT and other good author’s books.
• Don’t try to rush, if you know the answer then do it, else don’t

•Make a timetable which you will follow through thick and thin, don’t take it lightly.
