Hey Swati, sharing the following exam pattern, this might be helpful for your friend…
CA CPT Exam Pattern:
CPT exam is of Total Marks - 200.
The Common Proficiency Test is of Objective type – Multiple choice questions
English / Hindi will be language of CA CPT exam
Negative marking will be done for every incorrect answer. 0.25 marks will be deduced for incorrect response.
SESSION – I
It will be of 100 marks & Time duration for the exam will be 2 hours.
Section A: (60 marks) - Fundamentals of accounting
Section B: (40 marks) - Mercantile Laws
SESSION – II
It will be of 100 marks & Time duration for the exam will be 2 hours.
Section C: (50 marks) - General Economics
Section D: (50 marks) - Quantitative Aptitude
