  • NEET Important Dates:

    NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) has been rescheduled due to the spread of COVID-19 Pandemic. The Entrance examination will be conducted in the offline mode across 155 cities in the nation on September 13, 2020. The application forms were available from December 02, 2019.
     
    The last date to submit the application form was January 06, 2020, after which the correction window was available from January 15 – 31, 2020. The second correction window for NEET was from May 15 – 31, 2020. The last correction window for NEET is available from July 04 – 15, 2020. The provisional answer key is expected to be released in the last week of September.

    NEET is a national-level entrance test that offers admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental programmes in numerous Government and Private Institutions in the country. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the behalf of Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India. It is one of the important and difficult medical entrance tests in India. Almost 16 Lakh aspirants appear for the NEET to get the admission in MBBS and BDS programmes.

    AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS entrance tests have been merged in the NEET, it has replaced AIPMT (All India Para Medical Test) that was earlier conducted to offer admission in the medical courses. It was earlier quashed and then in 2016, it was revoked by the Supreme Court.

    1.       The NEET application form started from December 02, 2019.

    5.       The final correction window is available from July 04 – 15, 2020.
    6.       The admit cards for NEET can be downloaded 15 days prior to the exam date, from August 29, 2020 onwards.
    7.       NEET will be conducted in the offline mode across 155 test centers all around the nation on September 13, 2020.
    8.       The provisional answer key will be released in the last week of September and the final answer key is expected to be released in the first week of October.
    9.       NEET results are expected to be released in the second week of October.
