West Bengal Police SI Recruitment has four stages for the eligible candidates to get recruited. The candidates have to go through a proper WEST BENGAL POLICE SI selection process:

• West Bengal Police SI Stage I - Preliminary Examination

• Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

The West Bengal Police SI Eligibility Criteria is:

1. Age Limit:

• The candidates must be within 20 - 27 years of age to be eligible.

• The reserved category candidates are provided with the provision of age relaxation. The age relaxation in the upper age limit is:

  • SC/ ST (West Bengal Candidates): 5 Years

  • OBC (West Bengal Candidates): 3 Years

2. Educational Qualifications:

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent from the Government recognized College/ University.

• The candidate must be well-versed in the Bengali Language.

3. Nationality:

The candidate must be of Indian Nationality.

• Fee for General Category (West Bengal Candidates): Rs. 325

• SC/ST(West Bengal Candidates): Rs.25

The West Bengal Police SI exam's marking scheme is that the 2 marks are allotted for each question. The negative marking for West Bengal Police SI Prelims Exam is here:

• According to the West Bengal Police SI Written Test Score, the applicants have to appear for the West Bengal Police SI Personality Test.

• The Personality Test is for 30 Marks, from which the candidate has to score 8 marks to qualify for the test.

The candidates have to prepare for the following topics in the Logical and Analytical Reasoning subject; 25 Questions will be asked.

3. Numerical and Mental Ability

The candidates have to prepare for the following topics in the Numerical and Mental Ability subject; 25 Questions will be asked.

• Must have the full knowledge of Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

• You must know General Studies like history, polity, geography, technology, and much more.

• Solve Last Years’ Question Papers to know what to expect, and it will test your speed and accuracy.

• Make a time table and go by the schedule.

• Refer books, make notes as well online portals to know where you stand.

• Negative marking is a factor; attempt the questions carefully.
