KVPY Exam Pattern
KVPY Exam pattern – Stream SA (Duration: 3 hours)
This exam will contain MCQ questions of 100 marks. The exam will have Part 1 and Part 2. All the questions are mandatory in both parts.

Physics section will have 15 questions in Part 1 and 5 questions in Part 2 for a total of 25 marks.

Chemistry section will have 15 questions in Part 1 and 5 questions in Part 2 for a total of 25 marks.

Mathematics section will have 15 questions in Part 1 and 5 questions in Part 2 for a total of 25 marks.

Biology section will have 15 questions in Part 1 and 5 questions in Part 2 for a total of 25 marks.
KVPY Exam pattern – Stream SB/SX (Duration: 3 hours)
This exam will also contain MCQ questions of 100 (60+40) marks. The exam will have Part 1 and Part 2. All the questions are not mandatory; in Part 1 any three sections are mandatory and in Part 2 any two sections are mandatory out of four.

The physics section will have 20 questions in Part 1 and 10 questions in Part 2 for a total of 40 marks.

With aspirants applying for KVPY in lakhs, it became really difficult to crack but all you need to do is follow these tricks and tips to succeed:
·You must also have the full knowledge of all the sections.
·Take Mock tests online to know your Strengths’ and Weakness.
· Have full knowledge of all the sections and its type of exams.
·Must have the full knowledge of Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
·Solve last years’ question papers in order to know what to expect and it will test your speed as well as accuracy.
·Wrong answers will have -0.25 negative markings so be careful while answering.
·Prepare yourself with the timing of the exam so that you will able to finish well in time.
·Don’t be anxious and before going to examination hall eat properly, have proper sleep and just relax.
Eligibility:
Graduates can apply for the Aptitude Test conducted by KVPY. Candidates who have been short-listed through the Aptitude Test will be called for the Final Interview by January 2021.
There is no age limit to attend the exam.
