Madhya Pradesh commonly known as Heart of India due to its geographical location and it is also the second largest state by areas along with fifth-largest populated state in India. It has largest reserves of copper and diamond in India and has 30% forest area. Patwari is the designation given to the village accountants. They are commonly called by the names of Zaildar, Munshi, Kulkarni and Adhikari. This system was introduced by Sheh Shah Suri and was carried forward by Akbar. The job responsibilities of Patwari are- To keep the accounts of Agricultural lands of the villages he has been assigned, To collect taxes from the 8 to 10 agricultural land he has been allotted, Visit allotted villages every month to inspect the harvests, crops. Age limit of MP Patwari is between 18 to 40 years, the age relaxation is based by government. The salary is expected to be between Rs26000 to Rs30000. The minimum qualification graduation degree from any recognised college by the State government. The candidate must have a clear certificate of COMPUTER PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATION TEST (CPCT) which is a proof of proficiency in Hindi Typing & Computers, if a candidate doesn’t have he will be given 2 years to get it. The vacancy for MP Patwari in 2016 was 9129, in 2017 it was 9235 and in 2018, it is expected to be near 10000.

The Online Registration for MP Patwari 2018 will be made available by 09/04/2018 The last Online Registration Date for MP Patwari 2018 is 23/04/2018. The MP Patwari 2018 Paper will commence and happen between 9th to 29th December 2018 The MP Patwari 2018 Paper exam result will be declared by March 2019.

Exam Pattern: MP Patwari 2018

The MP Patwari are conducted Online in 2 shifts which contain 100 question of 100 marks with time limit of 2 hours and 10 minutes extra is given to read all the instructions. The subjects one should be prepare and cover are:

  • General Knowledge – Must have the knowledge of Biology, Economy, Physics, Chemistry, Polity, Art & Culture of MP, History & Geography of India & MP, Important awards, dates and inventions, Last 6 month’s current affairs, and Books and authors.
  • Quantitative Aptitude – Have the complete knowledge of Averages, Boat & Stream, and Simple Interest & Compound Interest, HCF & LCM, Mixture & Allegation, Partnership, Percentage Ration Proportion, Pipes and cistern, Profit Loss & Discount, Speed, Time & Discount, Time work & wages, Geometry Mensuration & Trigonometry.
  • Hindi Language – Must have full grip in Hindi and in areas like Grammar, Fill in the banks, Proverbs and idioms, Antonym- Synonym, one-word Substitution, error-finding.
  • Computer Awareness – Must have the Basic information of computers, Microsoft Word & Office & Excel, Input & Output Devices, Operating Systems, RAM – ROM.
  • Rural Economy – Basics of Rural Economy, Indian Agriculture, Land Reforms,  Irrigation Projects and resources, role of revenue officer, Government schemes, Green Revolution, Rural Unemployment & MNREGA, Rural Poverty & Allied Themes, Social Inclusion, and Rural Welfare Activities.

Note: The results declared will be decided on the basis of performance and further it will be based on the merit list prepared by MP Government will vary on the basis of category (SC/ ST/OBC/General/UR).

Cut-Off:

The cut-off of MP Patwari 2018 varies from UR/ST/SC/OBC to General and will be given on the basis of expected 10000 seats:

For General candidate of MP Patwari 2018:  The expected minimum cut off is 40% while the expected cut off will range between 75 to 80%

For OBC candidate of MP Patwari 2018:  The expected minimum cut off is 40% while the expected cut off will range between 70 to 74%

For SC candidate of MP Patwari 2018:  The expected minimum cut off is 50% while the expected cut off will range between 65 to 70%

For ST candidate of MP Patwari 2018:  The expected minimum cut off is 50% while the expected cut off will range between 65 to 70%
