  • The cut-off of UPSC Pre 2018 varies from PH/ST/SC/OBC to General and will be given on the basis of expected 780 seats. Here we have 2016 & 2015 cut-off which tell what should we expect from 2018:

For the General candidate of UPSC Pre 2018:  The minimum cut off in 2016 is 116 while the cut off in 2015 was 107.34
For OBC candidate of UPSC Pre 2018:  The minimum cut off in 2016 is 110.66 while the cut off in 2015 was 106
For SC candidate of UPSC Pre 2018:  The minimum cut off in 2016 is 99.34 while the cut off in 2015 was 94
For ST candidate of UPSC Pre 2018:  The minimum cut off in 2016 is 96 while the cut off in 2015 was 91.34
For PH candidate of UPSC Pre 2018:  The minimum cut off in 2016 is 75.34 while the cut off in 2015 was 90.66

Which means General/OBC need More than 100 marks out of 200 to go for UPSC Mains 2018 while for SC/ST it’s a relief, they need less than 100 marks out of 200 marks to qualify for UPSC Mains 2018.
