Delhi Metro has been an example setter in a new generation at the time of mass urban transportation across the country. The post-modern Metro rail system brought comfortable, fully air conditioned coaches and pocket-friendly travelling for the very first time in the country and changed the outlook of the public transportation scenario not only in the National Capital Region but across country. 
With a long network of 252 Km with 185 stations in record time, the DMRC today stands out of the box as a glittering example of how a huge technically advanced infrastructure project can be completed in time and within estimated cost by an agency of Government. 
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) got registered on 3rd May 1995 under the Companies Act, 1956 with equal equity participation of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) and the Central Government to implement the dream of construction and operation of a world- class Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS).
The DMRC had first started between Shahdara and Tis Hazari on 25th December, 2002.
Selection Process
The applicants will be judged by a Screening Committee comprising of three Directors of DMRC. The aspirant’s suitability will be decided, on the basis of the requirement of the job. Selection process would consist of judgment of different areas of knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude, physical fitness etc. All related information will be available only on website and candidates must remain in touch with it.
