APTET Exam: Exam Pattern, Details and Insights



Andhra Pradesh Teacher Ability Test or the APTET 2020 will be organized by Department of School Education, which is an undertaking of Government of Andhra Pradesh, from Jun 10, 2019 to Jun 21, 2019. Interested candidate must make sure that they have passed 10+2 and have a degree in B.Ed from a recognized university/institution before applying for this recruitment exam. There will be three papers of 150 minutes having these sections: Paper 1 will have- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II (English), Mathematics and Environmental Studies; Paper 2 will have- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II (English) and a) For Mathematics & Science Teachers b) For Social Studies Teacher c) For any other Teacher – Either (iv)(a) or (iv)(b) and Paper 3 will have- Physical Education Pedagogy, Language I, Language II (English) and Physical Education (Content).

Preparation tips for APTET Exam

·         You need to finish APTET Exam within 150 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 150 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.

·         Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
