What do you mean by GATE? Is it an online exam?

Is it a national level exam? What is the minimum qualification required?

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
It's an online test.
Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering(4 years after 12 or 12+1 years after B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering) or The final year student of these programs.
BCA and BCS (a three years degree) students are not eligible for GATE.
