  • AFCAT Application Process: How to Apply for AFCAT?
     
     The candidates who are aspiring to serve Indian Air Force are required to apply through the official website of AFCAT or careerindianairforce.cdac.in in the online mode (AADHAAR Card is mandatory for the online registration).
     
    AFCAT released the notification for the Flying Branch, Ground Staff (Technical and Non-Technical) branch, NCC Special Entry, Meteorology Branch on June 10, 2020, check out AFCAT Notification and Selection Process. The registration window was available from June 15 – July 14, 2020, for the courses will be commenced in July 2021.

    The candidates should fill the application form with proper care as the incorrect information provided will lead to the cancellation of the application form. The candidates who will apply for the Technical post of Ground Staff are required to give AFCAT and EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test). The exam will be conducted in two shifts on September 19 – 20, 2020 in the online mode, AFCAT Exam Dates. The online application process will be commenced in easy steps mentioned here:
     
    Step 1: Candidate’s Registration

    The candidates are required to register themselves through the e-mail ID and system-generated password, the login credentials should be remembered for the future references.

    After logging in with their login credentials, the candidates are required to enter the ENTRY Mode: AFCAT, NCC Special Entry for Flying Branch, Meteorology Branch.
     
    Step 2: Application Form Filling

    The candidates are required to fill the information regarding the following:

    1.       Personal details
    2.       Academic qualifications
    3.       Course preferences
    4.       Communication details
    5.       Exam City Preferences

    Step 3: Upload requisite documents

    The candidate is required to upload the documents in the next step:
    Recent candidate photograph: JPEG/JPG Format, in between 10 KB – 50 KB
    Candidate’s Signature: JPEG/JPG Format, in between 10 KB – 50 KB
    Thumb Impression: JPEG/JPG Format, in between 10 KB – 50 KB

    The candidates are required to upload the original documents as uploading false things will be considered invalid and further cancellation under counterfeit entries. A lot of entries are cancelled due to the not meeting the eligibility criteria, AFCAT Eligibility Criteria.

    Step 4: Payment of Application Process

    After submitting the application form, the last step to pay the application fees of Rs. 250 (Non-Refundable) in the online mode. The application fees are not applicable for the candidates who are applying through NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Branch. The cash or offline payment methods are not applicable for paying the application fee.

    The candidates are advised to fill the application form with utter care, as no correction window will be provided. The candidates have to re-fill the form with the new email-ID and pay the application fees.
