Please give the detailed exam pattern for AFCAT, Indian air force exam.
The exam happens in three phases:
Written Exam
SSB Interview (Screening Tests and CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) and Medical Examination)
The Written exam is held differently for different posts like ARMY, NAVY & AIRFORCE which consists of 100 Questions for 300 marks and time limit of 2 hours each:
General Knowledge: Must have the knowledge of Biology, Economy, Physics, Chemistry, Polity, Art & Culture of MP, History & Geography of India & MP, Important awards, dates and inventions, Last 6 month’s current affairs, and Books and authors.
Verbal Ability: Must have the knowledge of Grammar, Sentence Structuring, Synonym– Antonym, Phrases and more.
Numerical Ability: Must have the knowledge of Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage and more.
Reasoning & Military Aptitude Test: Must have the knowledge of Verbal Skills & Spatial Ability.
EKT Test (For Technical Ground Duty Only): It consists of 50 questions carrying 150 Marks with the time Limit of 45 Minutes. It is held to test the engineering knowledge of the candidates.
