  • UPESMET Required Eligibility for MBA Admission:

    The candidates should have obtained minimum 50% aggregate marks in higher and senior secondary level and graduation (10th and 12th and graduation). UPES offers admission in MBA programs through UPESMET and CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT.

    University of Petroleum and Energy Studies organizes the UPES Management Entrance Test every year to offer admission in various MBA Courses. UPES offers admission to the MBA aspirants from different gateways - UPESMET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT Score.

    The university fills maximum seats from the UPES Management Entrance Test and the remaining seats are filled through other popular management tests. The candidates are advised to read the UPESMET Eligibility carefully before applying for the exam.

    The last date to apply online is 23 June 2020 and the exam will be held from 26 June to 27 June 2020. Location and Time slot for the exam will be preferred by the candidates. UPESMET will be an online computer-based test, so the admit card is not required.

    Nationality:

    All the candidates who have Indian nationality can apply for the UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET). Non-Resident Indians can also apply for the exam.

    Educational Qualification:

    1. For the candidates applying through the UPESMET (Exam Pathway)

    The candidate should have scored minimum 50% Marks in 10th,12th and graduation. The UPESMET followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI).

    2. For the candidates applying through the other management test score (Non-Exam Pathway)

    The candidate must have minimum 50% Marks in 10th, 12th and graduation. The UPES accepts the following management test scores but the candidate will have to clear personal interview and group discussion round.

    (a) MAT/ CMAT Score: 75 percentile or above
    (b) CAT/ XAT Score: 70 percentile or above
    (c) GMAT Score: 550 or above
    (d) NMAT Score: 140 or above

    Age Limit:

    There is no age limit restriction for the MBA admission in UPES.

    6. There will be scholarship criteria on the basis of percentile scored by the candidate.
