  • KLEEE or KLUEEE also known as KL University engineering entrance exam is an undergraduate university level exam conducted by Koneru Lakshmaiah University. This KLU engineering entrance exam is conducted every year to offer admissions to the aspiring candidates into various B.Tech. courses as offered by the university.
    Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech courses have to meet the prescribed KLEEE eligibility criteria for the programme to be considered for admission. Among the key eligibility criteria that candidates need to meet include that of the qualifying exam, minimum marks, and also subject combination.
    ·         The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized institute. Candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) combination are eligible for admission to all B.Tech programmes, including Bio-Technology. Candidates belonging to Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) group are eligible for admission to B. Tech (Bio Technology) and B.Pharmacy. The candidate must score minimum 60% marks in aggregate in the three subjects taken together.
    ·         In addition to meeting the previous eligibility criteria, the candidate also must have qualified in any of the exams to be considered for admission which include: KL Engineering Entrance Examination, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, Any state-level engineering entrance exam, including EAMCET.
    ·         Candidates who have merit in sports/cultural activities may also be considered for direct admission.
    ·         If you are eligible for KLEEE you can fill the application form which can cost up to  1100rs.
    Exam pattern
    ·         It goes without saying that the candidate must refer to the exam pattern of KLEEE when preparing for the exam. It is because the candidate will then know the types of question asked, mode of exam, and also marking scheme. As per KLEEE exam pattern, the test was available in both online and offline modes. The candidate can use this information to decide which mode will be better suited to his/her abilities. That is not all as the candidates will know to align their preparation to objective-mode, considering only objective questions are asked in the exam. There will be three sections in KLEEE which are physics, chemistry and maths. Physics and chemistry will have 40 questions each whereas maths will have 80 questions. Each question carries one mark and the total time allotted for KLEEE is 3 hours.

    Tips and tricks
    ·         Before starting your KLUEEE preparation, you must know the syllabus of the exam so that you can prepare accordingly. Knowing the exam syllabus makes you aware about the topics from which various questions will be asked in the entrance exam. While creating a time table for your exam preparation, keep a copy of the syllabus handy with you.
    ·         As you go through the exam syllabus, you should make quick notes side by side for reference. Making notes will surely help you at the time of revision and will give a better understanding of the topics as you would've written them in your own language. Also, notes save you a lot of time, as you can quickly read through the important points.
    ·         For scoring well in KLUEEE, it is important that you test your understanding of the concepts from time to time. Regular test-taking will make sure that you are on the right path and you will also be able to pinpoint your weak areas.
    ·         If you are studying without practicing, you will not know how much you have learnt for your exam. Therefore, you must practice sample papers on a daily basis, as it will help you understand where all the preparation is lacking from your end.
