  • JNUCEEB: Marking Scheme

The JNUCEEB is conducted for the admission in MTech, MSc Biotechnology courses in JNU and some other colleges. The exam pattern varies as the course varies.

The exam is commenced in two parts Part A and Part B where Part A has 60 questions carrying 1 mark each and Part B has 100 questions from which the candidate has to attempt only 60 questions in the maximum time duration of 3 hours. Each question in Part B carrier 3 marks.

There is a provision of negative marking in JNUCEEB as follows:

    • Part A: 1/2 that is 0.5 marks will be deducted for the incorrect attempts and 1 mark is granted for the correct ones.
    • Part B: 1/3 that is 1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect attempts and 3 marks are granted for the correct ones.
