  • INTRODUCTION:

    Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test is commonly known as AP EAMCET. AP EAMCET is a state-level exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada for admissions into Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical courses offered at more than 425 private institutes in Andhra Pradesh state.
    Today we will talk about the AP EAMCET exam for admissions into various undergraduate courses.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    1. The nationality of the candidate must be Indian.
    2. The candidate must be of Andhra Pradesh domicile.
    3. Candidates must have passed Class XII or any other equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology with minimum 45% marks.
    4. For SCs or STs Candidates, minimum qualifying marks in higher secondary school are 40%.
    5. The general age-limit for candidates is between 17 to 22 years.

    EXAM PATTERN:

    The exam is conducted in online mode.
    The online test consists of 160 objective-type questions.
    The total time to attempt all the questions is 3 hours.
    The question paper will be different for Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical category.
    For Agriculture and Medical category, questions will be based on Botany, Physics and Chemistry.
    For the engineering category, questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
    There is no negative marking for the wrong attempt.
    All questions carry equal weightage carrying 1 mark for each correct answer.
    The questions will be asked in English and Telugu language.

    TIPS AND TRICKS:

    Make a practical time table and prepare according to it.
    Attempt all the questions as there is no negative marking.
    Practice sample papers or previous year papers.
