HSEE Exam: Exam Pattern, Syllabus and Details



HSEE is conducted by IIT Madras, every year, to offer admissions to aspiring candidates into various integrated PG programs in Development Studies and English studies. The last date to apply for the exam was 23rd January 2020. HSEE 2020 will be conducted on 19th April 2020, and the result for the same will be declared on 15th May 2020. The questions in the exam will be based on English, General Studies, Analytical Ability, and Essay Writing.

HSEE Exam: Eligibility Criteria 

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Candidates willing to apply must have qualified 10+2 from any recognized board with minimum 60% aggregate (50% for reserved category).
  • Age Limit:
    • Candidates belonging to general category must have born on or after 1st October 1994.
    • Candidates belonging to reserved category must have born on or after 1st October 1989.
