The candidates are eligible when they have a Bachelor’s Degree in B.Tech/BE/BCA and other technical fields from recognised University/Institution. The eligible candidates can apply for the desired technical job profile on the official website of Mu Sigma by sending the resume. The selection process will be as follow- Mu Sigma Personality and Aptitude Test, Video Synthesis, Pseudo Code and Case Study, Group Discussion (GD), Technical Interview and Human Resource (HR) Interview. The Aptitude Test will comprise of four sections- Quant & Logic, Language, Critical Thinking and Personality Profile. The candidate can apply for the job throughout the year, the selection will also based on the number vacancies in the company.

  • The written test is in online mode.
  • The exam will be of 55 marks.
  • The exam will consist of 55 questions.
  • There is no sectional timing.
  • The exam will be of 90 minutes.
  • There is a negative marking of 0.5 marks except in Personality Profile Section.
  • The medium of the questions will be English.

Selection process: Mu Sigma Recruitment

  • Mu Sigma Personality and Aptitude Test-  The candidates will have to appear for an Online Test that would be of 55 marks.
  • Video Synthesis- Those who qualify first round will go for the Video Synthesis in which the listening and grasping skills will be tested .
  • Pseudo Code and Case Study- Those who qualify Video Synthesis will go for Pseudo Code and Case Study in which the candidate will have to write the outputs of certain codings.
  • Group Discussion (GD)- Those who qualify Pseudo Code and Case Study will go for the Group Discussion (GD).
  • Technical Interview- Those who qualify Group Discussion (GD) will go for the Technical Interview.
  • Human Resource (HR) Interview- Those who qualify Technical Interview will go for the final round and that will be the  Human Resource (HR) Interview.

 

Syllabus: Mu Sigma Recruitment 

Quantitative Ability: The questions are based on Data Interpretation, Speed & Distance, Algebra, Equations, Progression, Profit & Loss, Ratios, Averages, Geometry.

Logic Reasoning: The questions are based on Attention to Details, Visual Reasoning, Relationship (Blood Relations), Flowcharts, Logical Reasoning, Statement & Conclusions.

Verbal Ability: The questions are based on Grammar, Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms), Sentence Correction, Prepositions, Idioms and Phrases, Speech and Tense, Fill in the blanks and Reading Comprehension.

Critical Thinking: The questions are based on Visual thinking and Visual Representation.

Personality Profile: It consists of 20 questions.

Preparation tips for Mu Sigma Recruitment: For Written Test/Interview

You need to finish two sections of Mu Sigma within 90 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 55 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.
Make technical section your strong suit, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency.
Remember negative marking is a factor here and that also 50%. Therefore, try not to attempt the questions that put in doubt.
