AIPMT (now NEET) is an Offline Examination which consists of Objective Type 180 questions and 4 sections carrying 45 marks for each section namely Physics, Biology, Zoology and Chemistry with the time limit of 3 hours. The right answer will fetch you 4 marks each while the wrong answers will fetch you -1.0 marks. You can give the exam in 10 languages: Bengali, Hindi, English, Oriya, Telugu, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada and Tamil. The syllabus of NEET will be based on class 11th and 12th course:
·Zoology – It comprises of Structural Organisation in Animals, Locomotion & Reproduction in Protozoa, Animal Diversity I & II, Human Anatomy & Physiology I & II & III & IV, Human Reproduction, Genetics, Organic Evolution, Applied Biology and Much more.
· Biology – It comprises of Cell and Molecular Biology, Reproduction, Evolution and Genetics, Biochemistry, Plant and Human Physiology and much more.
·Chemistry – It comprises of Atomic Structure, Classification of Elements & Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, and the States of Matter: Gases & Liquids, Stoichiometry, Thermodynamics, Chemical Equilibrium and Acids Bases, Hydrogen & Compounds, The block Elements S & P (Alkali & Alkaline Earth Metals and Boron & carbon Family), Environmental Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Hydro-Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Metallurgy and much more.
·Physics – It comprises of Units & Measurements, Laws of Motion, Units & Measurements, Work, Energy and Power, Oscillations, Gravitation, Mechanical properties of Liquids, Waves, Thermodynamics’, Atoms, Nuclei and Much more.
