    ·         Aspirants who are willing to perform brave feet for their country can apply for Indian Air Force X Group Exam.
    ·          This exam is for the candidates who are unmarried males, to join the Indian Air Force as Airmen in Group X Trades  (Except Education Instructor Trade). 
    ELIGIBILITY
    ·         The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
    ·         The candidate must have completed the intermediate (10+2) level with English, Mathematics, and Physics as subjects and must have passed 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
     
    ·         Or The candidate must have completed a 3-year diploma in Engineering from any stream and must have passed from Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
     
    ·         There are certain medical standards and some other criteria’s for attempting the exam.we have provided the link for that in the description.
    EXAM PATTERN
    ·         The exam is of 70 marks in total
    TOTAL TIME is 60 minutes in which the students have to attempt 70 questions.
    CORRECT ANSWER gives you +1
    0.25 is deducted for the incorrect answer.

    The paper is divided into 3 subparts:
    1)English consisting of 20questions
    2)Physics consisting of 25questions
    3)Maths consisting of 25questions
    TIPS AND TRICKS-
    ·         Focus on your physical fitness.
    ·         Revise your concepts daily
    ·         The basics should be clear as the exam includes topics of physics, chemistry, and maths from your +2.
    · Practice as many mock tests as you can and analyze your performance on a regular basis.

  • Aspirants who are willing to perform brave feet for their country can apply for Indian Air Force X Group Exam. Indian Air Force invites the online applications from the candidates who are unmarried males, to join the Indian Air Force as Airmen in Group X Trades  (Except Education Instructor Trade). The selection procedure consists of three phases. Phase 1 consists of two online tests, one will be of 60 minutes, comprising of English, Physics, and Mathematics according to 10+2 syllabus and other will be of 85 minutes, comprising of English, Physics, and Mathematics according to 10+2 syllabus, and, Reasoning and General Awareness. Phase 2 consists of the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-1 and Adaptability Test-2. Phase 3 consists of Medical Examination designated at Medical Boarding Centre (MBC). As per the eligibility criteria, the candidate  must have passed the intermediate (10+2) level with English, Mathematics, and Physics.

  • 1.    Exam details as of 2018:
    Forms- December & January
    Exam- 10 & 11 March
    Age Limit - 17 to 21 years 
    2. SELECTION PROCEDURE
    Physical Fitness Test (PFT):-
    Candidates passing the written test are required to undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Passing the PFT is mandatory. The PFT for all trades [except IAF (Security)] consists of a 1.6 km run to be completed within 8 minutes. The PFT for IAF (Security) trade includes a 2.4 Km run & 5 Km run to be completed in 15 minutes & 30 minutes respectively. Candidates above 27 years of age will be given relaxation in PFT timing as per existing norms (Applicable to serving NC (E) s only). Candidates completing PFT faster are awarded additional marks on a sliding scale.
    Interview:
    Candidates passsing PFT will be interviewed by a team of Officers & Warrant ranks. Interview is normally conducted in English as such working knowledge is necessary.
    Medical:-
    Candidates who have been recommended for interview will be medically examined by the Recruitment Medical Team as per
