TUET Exam 2020: Exam Pattern, Insights and Details



Tripura University Entrance Test (TUET) 2020 is conducted every year whose exam date is 25 - 28 June 2020. This entrance test is conducted for admissions in various courses. The candidate must have passed 12th class in various streams according to the course they are opting for in the college from recognized board for UG and graduate for PG.  The entrance exam will be of 120 minutes having two sections: Analytical / logical and Derivation / calculation.

The candidate must have passed min 50% (GEN) on 12th class in various streams according to the course they are opting for in the college from a recognized board.

  • Online test will be of 100 marks.
  • The exam will have 50 MCQs type questions
  • Total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes
  • Sections in the exam: Two
    • Analytical / logical
    • Derivation / calculation
  • 2 marks will be awarded for each right answer.
  • -1/2 mark for each wrong answer

Preparation Tips for TUET Exam 2020

·         You need to finish 2 sections of TUET Exam within 120 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 50 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.

·         Make quantitative and reasoning your strong subjects, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. You should lay emphasis not on mugging up the formulas but instead try understanding the concepts, so, you can modify the formulas according to the question requirement.

·         Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
