SAEEE: Exam Pattern, Insights and Details



Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology offer admissions to the aspiring candidates into various undergraduate engineering programs by means of SAEEE. SAEEE is an online examination. Aspirants willing to apply must have qualified their 10th and 12th exams or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate. The last date to apply for the exam is April 30, 2020. There will be a total of 120 questions from Physics (30 questions), Chemistry (30 questions), and Mathematics (60 questions). SAEEE exam 2020 is to be conducted from 14th April 2020 to 19th April 2020 but SAEEE has been postponed till the announcement of further dates. Go to the links provided below to test your exam prep level and to take online practice tests:

SAEEE 2020: Eligibility Criteria

For all B.E. / B.Tech. Programmes:

  • 10th class or Equivalent Examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or “6.0” CGPA.

  • 10+2 / HSC / ICSE or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with an average of 60% marks and above (in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry).

  • Candidate opting for these programmes should appear for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in the entrance examination.

For B. Arch. Programme:

  • 10+2 / HSC / ICSE or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with a minimum average of 60% marks (in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) and a valid NATA marks (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).
  • Candidate opting for this programme should appear for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in the entrance examination.

Candidates passed in compartmental class/grade (or) passed with arrear/s either in 10th class or in 12th class are not eligible for admission.

Non-resident Indian (NRI), diploma holders and candidates of foreign origin need not appear for this entrance examination.

SAEEE Exam: Exam Pattern

The entrance exam for programmes conducted by Satyabhama Insitute of Science and Technology notification is out. Candidates applying for the entrance exam should get through the exam pattern to strategize the schedule and preparation for the exam.

Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction, Binomial Theorem, and Its Simple Applications, Sequences and Series, Limit, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Co-Ordinate Geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability, Trigonometry, and Mathematical Reasoning.

  • Physics:

Physics and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws Of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Properties Of Solids and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory Of Gases, Oscillations and Waves, Electrostatics, Currrent Electricity, Magnetic Effects Of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Dual Nature Of Matter And Radiation, Atoms and Nuclei, Electronic Devices, Communication Systems.

  • Chemistry:

Some Basic Concepts In Chemistry, States Of Matter, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, And Molecular Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Solutions, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, And Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, Classification Of Elements And Periodicity In Properties, General Principles And Processes Of Isolation Of Metals, Hydrogen, S - Block Elements (Alkali Andalkaline Earth Metals), P - Block Elements, D– And F –Block Elements, Co-Ordination Compounds, Environmental Chemistry, Purification And Characterisation Of Organic Compounds, Some Basic Principles Of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Halogens, Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Polymers, Biomolecules, Chemistry In Everyday Life, Principles Related To Practical Chemistry.

Before starting preparation, make a schedule plan to manage your time wisely. Give appropriate time and attention to each and every topic.

  • Remember that there is no provision of negative marking in this exam. Thus, attempt every question.
