If you’re fresh out of school and preparing for engineering college entrance exams then also add REVA University’s Engineering Entrance Test to your checklist. Cracking REVA EET, opens doorways to various B.Tech degree courses offered by the institute; the university authorities have already announced that the engineering entrance test will be conducted on  April 27, 2020. The registration process is ongoing and interested students can apply and submit the exam fee through the official online web portal before April 15, 2020. The application form can be filled online as well as offline mode. The online exam will be of 120 minutes and will have these sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. REVA University Engineering Entrance Test: Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates applying for the engineering courses should go through the eligibility criteria set by the university, as it is the minimum qualification that is required for the admission process. The eligibility criteria for REVA EET is:

  • Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have passed 12th class with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects from a recognized board with at least 45% marks for General candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

  • Age Limit:

Maximum Age: 20 Years (For General Candidates)

Maximum Age: 22 Years (For SC/ST/OBC Candidates)

REVA EET Exam: Exam pattern

The online entrance exam will be of 2 hours in which there will be three sections comprising 40 questions in each section with no negative marking.

  • The online test will be of 120 marks.

  • The exam will have 120 MCQs type questions

  • The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes

  • Sections in the exam: Three

    • Physics for 40 marks

    • Chemistry for 40 marks

    • Mathematics for 40 marks

  • There is no negative marking.

 

REVA EET Exam: Syllabus

REVA University Engineering Entrance exam is an undergraduate level exam, thereby the syllabus for the exam will cover the 12th standard syllabus for the three sections Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 

Preparation tips for REVA EET Exam 

  • You need to finish 3 sections of the REVA EET Exam within 120 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 120 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.

  • Remember negative marking is not a factor here. Therefore, try to attempt all questions.

  • Manage your time properly; give an appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
