  • Preparation Tips for JMI MBA:
You need to finish 4 sections within 180 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 170 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.
Make numerical ability and reasoning your strong subjects, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. You should lay emphasis not on mugging up the formulas but instead try understanding the concepts, so, you can modify the formulas according to the question requirement.
Remember negative marking is a factor here. Therefore, try not to attempt questions that put you in doubt.

  • TIPS AND TRICKS
    1.      Read up on your pie charts as the practise would help in the section of the exam dealing with Data Interpretation.
    2.      General Awareness can be tackled with listening to the news and panel discussions.
    3.      Logical reasoning questions generally are tricky. So we would suggest to keep on with the practise.
    4.      Lastly, give a lot of mock tests to keep up with the factor of timing yourself during exams. For this I would suggest you to download the PREPGURU application designed by Youth4Work.

  • Collect the syllabus and exam pattern of your exam JMI MBA. and then make your study plans accordingly.. Study smaller quantities of syllabus every day instead of taking on huge portions. If you hurry with all the chapters you haven't yet covered, you will be able to memorise very little of it for exam day...Reading the chapters and highlighting important portions help a lot, but when you write down the important points you read in a piece of rough paper or your notebook, it helps you retain information even more..So, If you need to continue studying, take longer breaks of around 20 minutes after every 2 hours...Study material in a syllabus can be divided into core material and elaborative material. While core material consists of important principles, theorems, formulae, important diagrams and graphs, elaborative material consists of examples, quotes, illustrations etc.As much as 80 per cent of the questions asked in an exam are likely to come from the core material...Moreover, study the question patterns of the last few years and make sure you are not spending too much time on topics that are highly unlikely to be asked in the exam.. Take out the previous year question banks to know the level of questions and finally at the last no to forget to take a mock test online to check the cability ..So, keep aside the stress, and get down to work!
