What are the educational qualifications, maximum and minimum age limit, citizenship required to be eligible for the Jain College JET?

  • JET(Jain Entrance Test) Required Eligibility Criteria:
     
    The applicants for the JET can be of any nationality. The applicants who have passed Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects with Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics /Biology with an aggregate of 60% marks are eligible to apply for JET BTech exam.

    The JET is conducted by School of Engineering And Technology, Jain University, Bangalore to offer admission in BTech courses. The entrance exam is a national-level exam. Rs. 600 (including GST) is required to be paid for the entrance examination. The JET (for BTech) will be held on April 26, 2020.

    Only eligible candidates can take this entrance examination to get admission. There are three criteria that sum up to be eligible for the JET, Nationality, Age limit, and Educational qualification. Applicants are advised to check the Complete Eligibility Criteria before applying for the JET.
     
    ► Nationality:
     
    There is no restriction for the nationality of the citizen, any person can apply for the JET irrespective of citizenship yet there are some criteria for the foreign students.

    IB (International Baccalaureate) students should get a minimum of 26 credits to qualify for the course

    Cambridge students should have studied 3 subjects at ‘A’ Level (Advanced level) that includes Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
     
    ► Age Limit:
     
    There is no mention of age limit for the application of BTech form on the official website of Jain University.
     
    ► Educational Qualifications:
     
    The candidates applying for the JET are required to have passed Higher Secondary Exam (Intermediate)/PUC/ISC/CBSE or Equivalent Board withMathematics and Physics as the mandatory subjects with Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science /Biology with an aggregate of 60% ( 5 % relaxation for SC/ST category).

    The Candidates of final year of class 12th  or its equivalent that are waiting for results may also apply for the JET. 

    NIOS (National Institute of Open School) candidates are eligible to apply for BTech admission in Jain University.

    JET/UNIGAUGE score is accepted for the admission in BTech course of Jain University.
