GUJCET Exam Details, Eligibility Criteria, Previous Year Question Papers Download



The GUJCET Gujarat Common Entrance Test is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board for the admission of Engineering courses B.E./B.Tech in Gujarat. Candidates can apply for registration till 21 Jan to 19 Feb 2019 with late fess considering the eligibility criteria that is a candidate must be 12th passed with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) or appearing for class 12th examinations. Application form fees are Rs. 300 for all the categories. The release Date of Admit card is on April/March 2020. As per GSEB, the exam will be held on 31st March 2020. The exam duration is 3 hours in which each candidate need to compete for the 3 sections that are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics carrying 40 marks for 40 questions

Educational Qualification:

The Eligibility for Applying for GUJCET is 12th passed or appearing for class 12th examinations. 10+2/HSC/qualifying examination should be passed with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates).

Nationality of the candidate should be Indian.

GUJCET: Exam Pattern

Type: Computer Based test (Online Mode)

Duration: The duration of the GUCET exam will be of 180 minutes.

No. of Questions: 120 Objective type questions.

Syllabus Covered: The Syllabus includes:

Physics- carrying 40 marks for 40 questions

Chemistry- carrying 40 marks for 40 questions

Mathematics- carrying 40 marks for 40 questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

GUJCET: Tips and Tricks

  • Become smart by attempting questions that you are sure of first, then come to the questions you’re in doubt. But don’t attempt them anyway, remember negative marking is a factor here. Therefore, only attempt a question if you really know the answer to.

  • Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
