Assam Common Entrance Exam (Assam CEE) 2020 conducted by Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU) whose registration process has been started in online mode and candidates can fill the application form till 2 May To 24 April 2020. The language of the exam will be English and Assamese. Although, the final dates are yet to be announced. The candidate must have passed 10+2 in Science Stream from a recognized board. The exam will be of 180 minutes consisting of the following sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Nationality / Citizenship: The candidate must be a resident of Assam.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have passed 10+2 in Science Stream having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English from recognized board.

Assam CEE Exam: Exam pattern

  • Offline test will be of 480 marks.
  • The exam will have 120 MCQs type questions
  • Total duration of the exam will be 180 minutes
  • Sections in the exam: Three
    • Physics for 40 marks
    • Chemistry for 40 marks
    • Mathematics for 40 marks
  • There is negative marking. 4 marks will be awarded for each right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Preparation tips for Assam CEE Exam 

·         You need to finish 3 sections of Assam CEE Exam within 180 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 120 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.

·         Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
