Exam Pattern

BirlaSoft Recruitment has four steps. The written exam is of 65 questions with the time duration of 60 minutes. The level of the exam is moderate, with 0.25 negative marking.The steps are:

  1. Written Exam: This exam comprises of 50 questions for 1-hour time duration.
  2. Group Discussion
  3. Technical Interview
  4. HR Interview

 

Syllabus

The number of sections in the written exam are of total duration 60 minutes. The level is moderate, however, there is 0.25 negative marking.

  • Quantitative aptitude- Time and Speed, Distance, Algebra, Permutations-Combinations, Arrangements & Patterns, Coding, Decoding, Syllogisms, Series, Blood Relations, etc.
  • English- Comprehension, Error Spotting, Vocabulary, Fill in the blanks, etc.
  • Technical- JAVA, C, OOPS, etc.

 

Tips and Tricks

  • The exam will be objective multiple choice type.
  • Candidates must attempt questions carefully, as there is 25% negative marking.
  • The candidate must hold a valid graduation degree from a recognized univerisity by Central Government.
  • Keep confident and particular while attempting group discussions.
  • Technical quotients must be studied thoroughly for the Technical exam.
