  • Start reading newspapers and books to get yourself a good grip in comprehensionsand vocabulary. The more you practice the DI and quantitative section the more you'll be able to solve the problems with less time.Which questions to solve first is the decision to make as not all the questions take same amount of time.Attempt normal level questions first and give mock tests every now and then.Analyzing the papers is the main key to expertise the logics. You can join any institute you heard is good but main effort is to be taken by you.

  • Get your basics strong : Regularly keep yourself updated with the basics and the formulas and try not to look into your notes when you practice
Practice and Practice : The more you practice the more you will expand the range of knowing different questions. When you read the question during a test and it seems like one you did while practicing, your confidence level rises which proves to be vital success factor. With this the chances of solving the questions successfully is increased.
Mock Tests : Appear for as many mock tests as possible. With more tests you get aware of the question pattern and will be comfortable while appearing for CAT.
Just giving mocks will not help until you analyse your results. If test is for X hours, devote 2X hours for its analysis with this you will get in-depth knowledge of the mistakes and areas of improvement. Don’t appear for a new mock unless you have analysed the previous one
Strategy: You may ask others what is the strategy they implement while appearing for a test. But at the end of the day every person has their own approach and strengths. So focus on your strengths and strategize accordingly.
Along with this read newspaper regularly and books to enhance your knowledge. This will help you in your EXTEMPORE as you will be able to express different perspectives because of the knowledge you possess.
