PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) is a computer-based English language test offers candidates the fastest, fairest and most flexible way of proving their English language proficiency. It is trusted by universities, colleges and governments around the world for studying or immigrating abroad. PTE Academic consists of a single 3-hour test session which includes three sections: speaking and writing (together), listening and reading. There are twenty different question formats, ranging from multiple choice through to essay writing and interpreting information. Step 1: Register
To book PTE Academic, you must create a Pearson account. You will receive an email within 48 hours with your login details.
Step 2: Prepare for the Exam
Test takers who consider themselves to be fluent in English sometimes score less well in English tests than they could have because lack of preparation affects their performance on the day. Complete the preparation path to give yourself the best chance of performing well on the day!
Step 3: Take the Test
When you arrive at the Pearson test center our Test Center Administrators will guide you through our check-in process to make sure you understand and are comfortable with our rules and procedures.
They will request copies of your ID, ask for a digital photograph and signature, scan your palm, assign you a locker to check-in your belongings, and ensure you are ready for your test.
Step 4: View and Send Scores
PTE Academic offers results you can trust. We make sure you get your results quickly and that you can send them to as many institutions as you like.
