  • The output circuit is reverse bias providing high resistance na dthe input circuit is forward bias providing low resistance.But the current paths are exactly opposite. Current flowing through the input circuit is forwad bias allowing more diffusing current to flow through it thereby decreasing the resistance. The output circuit which is reverse bias does not allow this diffusion current to flow pass properly. Thus, the decrease in current makes it act as a high resistance.
