Which company is better HCL or Accenture?

For fresher's aspect.

  • My sister got selected for Accenture and HCL. HCL has sent the offer letter, need to fill the respective details, joining date might be a month from now. Accenture has already given the offer letter many days back and even their joining date will be in this month.

    Confused of which company to join. The pay for both the companies is same. Accenture might be in Banglaore and HCL might be in Chennai. Both the offers look same to me.

    But i think HCL provides stress free environment than Accenture and HCL's slogan is 'employee first'. Am i correct?

    I am trying to collect all the information i can and also want to know what you people think of the companies, came to know about this forum just now, so asking you experienced or fresh employees.

    Please tell me your views or opinions, i would be grateful to you all.

  •  would say hcl. i m also selected for hcl. i m not saying for that reason. i have enquired about hcl in various aspects. i also got placed in capgemini. but i m prefering hcl for various reasons. The information i got is as follows.the training support is excellent. it makes candidate to suffer some extent during beginning. but it is good to undergo that type of training at career begining.more over hcl training period is also counted as experience. From day1 onwards experience counts. in the case of remaining companies exp. counts only after training.Hcl do not take job in case of recession unlike tcs, infosys.accenture and capgemini are more service and bpo companies. it wont be a positive if candidate came from these companies.more over, candidates coming from hcl, infosys etc are well accepted and becomes a huge positive point.That too hcl guys can enjoy fame in public bcoz of lappys and desktops production.prefer accenture only if the profect domain they are offering you is very much likable by you and you are interested with the posting placeHCL IS THE BEST as per my opinion. it also many branches all over the world. only training is at chennai. posting can be at our chosen place. noida or banglore or mumbai or hyd. all the best

    Accenture is best option for freshers. Since work, projects and technology everything is same in this type of service companies. But, when it comes to policies and wages etc, Accenture is very good. Accenture has received 2nd position in great places to work at in 2013 following Google which was at no. 1 position. Accenture is an employee friendly company and take care of its employees. I would personally suggest Accenture if you wish to pursue your career in IT.
    End of the day, all depends upon your choice. But I will suggest Accenture. Accenture is definitely better. HCL is not that good for a fresher. People may choose to disagree with me, but having few friends who have experienced HCL first hand; so I can tell you from their experience that HCL is not a place worth joining. Plus Accenture has some really cool projects. And their work culture is also better.
