Any update about the pattern of NEET entrance exam?

  • Hello Deepshikha,
    As per the new notification previously the exam was conducted by the CBSE but now the duties are handed over to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
    NEET is one the most prestigious exam conducted by the Government of India to examine the eligibility of the aspirant to wants to become a doctor.

    NEET Exam Pattern for the 2019 read all the points carefully.
    ·         Exam will consist of 180 questions. 45 question will be asked from the respective subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.
    ·         Total number of marks will be 720. 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted from every wrong answer and no marks will be deducted from unattempt questions.
    ·         Exam will be held for three hours.
    ·         NEET UG will be based on paper pencil mode.

    The NEET entrance exam shall consist of multiple choice questions to be resolved within the paper-pencil modes for the given 3 main sections-
    Section I- Physics
    Section II- Chemistry
    Section III- Biology (Botany/ Zoology)
    Total Number of Questions: 180 (One Hundred Eighty)
     Total Marks Allotted: 720 (Seven Hundred Twenty)
     Time of Exam: 10:00 am to 01:00 pm


    Marking Criteria: The candidates are to be given four marks for each correct answer marked by the scholars whereas there'll be deduction of one mark for each wrong answer marked by the applicants severally. The paper will be control within the offline modes using the paper-pencil formats for this purpose. The NEET Exam has been replaced by the AIPMT from this year.
