What is HDFC bank exam all about? What is its eligibility criteria ,exam pattern etc.?

    Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) Bank was incorporated in August 1994.There will be MCQ’s type of questions in the paper. There is a three-tier process in the selection of candidates.  Preliminary Exam. Mains (Who cleared the prelims Exam) Interview.
    Eligibility
    For appearing in this exam, you person of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan Refugee, Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
     
    The minimum age of 20 years and maximum age of 30 years. With minimum qualification of degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The candidate should get 60% and above aggregate in academics without any Backlogs.
     
    Exam pattern:
    The paper will consist of 200 questions with total time period of 2 hours. There is negative marking for every wrong answer.
    1. Reasoning
    Total no. of questions and marks: 50(50 marks)
    2. English Language
    Total no. of questions and marks: 40(40 marks)
    3. Numerical Ability
    Total no. of questions and marks: 50(50 marks)
    4. General Awareness
    Total no. of questions and marks: 40(40 marks)
    5. Computer information
    Total no. of questions and marks: 20(20 marks)
     
    Tips and tricks:
    1.       As there are negative marks for every wrong answer try to attempt only those question of which you are sure of
    2.       Read newspaper daily so that you do well in the interview round.
    3.       Must practice prep test so that you know your strengths and weaknesses.
    4.       Increase your reasoning ability.
    5.       Attempt those question first in which you are sure of.
