What is the exam pattern for SSC JE Junior Engineer Recruitment Exam?

  • SSC JE Exam is conducted in two papers: Paper-1 and Paper 2, Paper 1 will be an objective type paper and paper 2 will be subjective.
    Paper 1 will be conducted in online mode whereas Paper 2 will be conducted in an offline mode.
     Paper 1 will be fro 200 marks and Paper 2 is a subjective paper and will be of 300 marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The duration for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be 120 minutes.
    Paper 1 will be a computer-based examination with three sections: 
    ​General Awareness - 50 questions
    General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50 questions
    General Engineering ( Civil, Structural/ Electrical/ Mechanical) - 100 questions
    Paper 2 will be a written test completely based on the engineering questions.
