  • IBPS has released the notification for the IBPS SO recruitment for 2017-18 exam. The exam pattern has been changed this year. The IBPS has decided to conduct IBPS SO exam in two parts that is prelims and main exam.
    The Prelims exam will consist three section as follows:
    English- 50 questions for 25 marks
    Reasoning- 50 question for 50 marks
    Quantitative- 50 questions for 50 marks.
    Thus the total 150 questions will be asked for the 125 marks. the time duration will be 2 hour for the prelims exam.
    Thre prelims exam will be qualifying in nature. canidates who will clear the prelims will be able to appear for IBPS SO Main exam.
    IBPS PO main exam will be for professional knowledge.
    Candidates will be given 60 questions of 60 marks for the professional knowledge test in the time lime of 45 minutes.
    For the Rajbhasha adhikari post 45 objective questions and 2 descriptive questions, both for 60 marks will be given to the candidates to complete each section in 30 minutes.

  • As per the Latest IBPS Specialist Officer Notification, the IBPS SO 2017-2018 Exam Pattern has been changed now..

     1) To ease out the candidates’ time scheduling worries during exam, IBPS has now assigned a time limit to each section. If any candidate doesn’t attempt enough scoring questions within the assigned time, he/she may lose the his/her qualifying chances.
     
     2) There will be equal no of questions from each section now.
     
     3) There are no any specified maximum marks for Reasoning, English, General Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude Section. Candidates will only have to qualify these sections by scoring more than IBPS SO cutt off marks.
     
     4) But for the Professional Knowledge Exam, Candidates can score maximum 80 marks.
     
    5)  The candidates will not be shortlisted for the Interview round only on the basis of their qualifying marks. They will have to score more points to create their places in the list of Interview Nominees.
