Dena Bank, founded in 1938 is a Public Sector Bank, Headquartered in Mumbai. Dena Bank has released vacancies for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO). The exam date is yet to be announced. The eligibility of the candidate- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution. The selection process will consist of two rounds- Online (Objective & Descriptive) and Group Discussion & Interview. The objective online exam will have four sections- Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Language. Dena Bank PO Recruitment: Exam pattern (Objective + Descriptive)

  • Objective online test (CBT) will be of 200 marks.
  • The exam will have 200 MCQs type questions.
  • The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes
  • The medium of language of the questions will be Hindi and English
  • Sections in the exam: Four
    • The reasoning for 50 marks
    • Quantitative Aptitude for 50 marks
    • English Language for 50 marks
    • General Awareness for 50 marks
  • Marking scheme: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer and 1 mark will allot for each right. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
  • The Descriptive Test will be of 50 marks.
  • The exam will have 2 questions.
  • The total duration of the exam will be 30 minutes.
  • The exam will consist of English Language questions.

  • First- the candidates will have to appear for an Online Test that would be of 250 marks.
  • Second- those who qualify the Online Test will be shortlisted for Group Discussion that would be of 20 marks.

Preparation tips for Dena Bank PO Recruitmen: For Online Test

You need to finish three sections of Dena Bank PO Prelims within 120 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 200 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.
Make mathematics and reasoning your strong subjects, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. You should lay emphasis not on mugging up the formulas but instead try understanding the concepts, so, you can modify the formulas according to the question requirement.
