  • NEET PG Counselling:

    MCC (Medical Council Committee) has released NEET PG Counselling and the seat allotment schedule for the year 2020. The mop-up rounds are set for filling the vacant seats in the All India Quota, Central Universities, Deemed University, AFMS and ESIC institutes. The admission in Master of Surgery (MS), MD and PG Diploma will be based on the category, cut-off. The registration for NEET PG Counselling is available from July 13 – July 15.

    The aspirants who have rejected the allotted seat in the first counselling, couldn’t appear for the first round of counselling are eligible to appear for the mop-up round. NEET PG  first counselling provisional list for the seat allotment was released on April 09, 2020. There is an addition of the seats in NEET PG and reduction of 20 percentile in  NEET PG Cut-off.

    NEET PG Seat Allotment process will begin from July 17 – 18, 2020, and the list of selected candidates will be released on the very next day, July 19, 2020. The selected candidates will have to report between July 20 – 26, 2020. If the seats remained vacant due to the non-joining or non-reporting of the candidate will be transferred to Deemed/Central Universities.

    The Deemed/ Central Universities will conduct the counselling for the transferred seats from July 27 – July 31, 2020. The candidates must have qualified NEET in accordance with the cut-off that is considered to be a qualifying score for the exam.

    1.       For general category: The Qualifying cutoff marks is 366 for the year 2020.
    2.       For PwD candidates: The Qualifying cutoff marks is 342 for the year 2020.
    3.       For SC/ST/OBC candidates: The Qualifying cutoff marks is 319 for the year 2020.

    The candidates have to register themselves through the online mode on the official website of MCC (Medical Council Committee), pay the fees, locking the seat, first round of counselling, choice of reporting to the allotted institutions will be filled in the form. The non-refundable application fee for NEET PG Counselling is:

    1.       For All India Quota/ Central Universities, the fee for general category is Rs. 1000, and the reserved category candidate has to pay Rs. 500 for the counselling process.
    2.       For All Deemed Universities in India, candidates have to pay Rs. 5000.

    The candidates have to carry NEET PG admit card, NEET PG scorecard, Class 10th mark sheet, MBBS Degree, internship certificate, ID proof, caste certificate and the applicable documents related to the class and category of the candidate.
